How does this work?

​

Leading up to the engagement: as soon as you sign the contract, you start sending in your server’s diagnostic data. Once reviewed asynchronously, I will send you any "quick wins" to address easy problems before we meet together live.

​

Step 1 (1/2 day): Discuss diagnostic data together . I start a Zoom session with your senior sysadmin or DBA, lead developer, and a business stakeholder. I show and train you on what is going using a fast, low-impact, read-only process used across hundreds of clients around the world, without any need for VPN logins or high-overhead traces.

​

Step 2 (1 day): I prepare the report with action plan using findings. Report will contain clear, actionable set of tasks for you to get permanent pain relief.

​

Day 3 (1/2 day): I train your team. I get back together and go through the findings in detail, showing you exactly why the database isn’t behaving the way you want, and how to get the pain relief you need. I’m showing you exactly what you need to do, and explaining why it will fix the issue. At this stage, you proceed with applying fix yourself. If you prefer to have me fix the issue then the deliverables will also include a Statement of Work for me to implement the necessary fixes.
